Third Person Intro:
The main point of my narrative was to let people know that you can find yourself in the strangest places. For me, it was volunteering for an old teacher to fulfill a graduation requirement. I think it says a lot about life. Even though that sounds cliché, it is the truth. We can find things out about ourselves in the oddest of places. But, it is what we do with those experiences that makes them worthwhile. I hope people can see that you can only make yourself happy, so you mind as well follow your dreams and pursue what you want to do.
The main point of the narrative was to let people know that they can find themselves in the strangest of places. For her, it was volunteering for an old teacher to fulfill a graduation requirement. That one experience can change the way things have such a huge impact. It says a lot about life and how certain life events can make a big change. That things just happen to fall into place and having no idea that they can make an impact or not. Even though that sounds cliché, it is the truth. Finding things out in the oddest of places is what makes it unique. It is a true act of education. It may not be the typical formal education, but it is something that they are able to learn from themselves rather than someone teaching them. But it's what they do with those experiences that makes them worthwhile. Figuring out that they can only make themselves happy is the lesson that they can take away from the experience.
Grand Scheme:
Volunteering can help shape people in who they want to be and teach them important life lessons. Figuring out the lesson that is being taught and applying it to their life is even more important and finding it in a strange place is what makes it unique. This in itself teaches people more than a traditional educational setting would.
